The Castle Rock High Noon and Morning Clubs invites you to join us in our annual community
event, the 13th Annual Ducky Derby and Street Festival - May 9, 2009. The Ducky Derby is the largest annual fundraiser
by the local Rotary Clubs of Castle Rock. Proceeds from the ticket sales and sponsors benefit the many philanthropic
efforts of our clubs as well as nonprofit organizations within our community. Past beneficiaries have included the Castle
Rock Senior Center; Woman's Crisis and Family Intervention Center; Castle Rock Players; Face the Challenge; Transafrika
Cultural Institutes; Douglas/Elbert Task Force; and the Rotary Clubs of Castle Rock. Proceeds from the Ducky Derby
have a tremendous impact locally, nationally and internationally.
Ducks will be launched in Plum Creek at about 2:00 p.m. For every 3,333 ducks racing, one will
be worth $1 Million if it comes in 1st Place. If none of the Special Lucky Ducks comes in 1st Place, the 1st Place prize shall
be $3,000 (Official Rules Below). The $1,000,000 prize, if won, is payable in twenty-five
equal installments of $40,000. Additional prizes awarded based on finish order.
